Computer Engineering Department Participates in the 5th Scientific Research Conference Kuwait

The Computer Engineering Department at Kuwait University proudly participated in the 5th Scientific Research Conference, held under the theme “Fostering Academic Excellence Through Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation.” 

The conference brought together distinguished scholars, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the dynamic role of interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing national development.
One of the central sessions of the conference, titled “The Role of Digital Transformation in Enhancing Interdisciplinary Research and National Development,” was expertly moderated by Dr. Reem AlBaghli from the College of Engineering & Petroleum. Dr. AlBaghli, a prominent faculty member in the Computer Engineering Department, guided an engaging and insightful discussion on how digital technologies are reshaping research methodologies and enabling cross-disciplinary innovation.
During the session, participants emphasized the importance of integrating emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and smart systems—into research frameworks to address national priorities and support Kuwait’s digital transformation goals.
