Accreditation | College of Engineering and Petroleum

All undergraduate programs of the college of engineering and petroleum are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the general and applicable program criteria.

Accreditation duties are facilitated through the Office of Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Research and Graduate Studies

Chemical Engineering Program

This program is designed to prepare graduates to apply engineering principles to the design, development, and operation of processes and products in the chemical and related industries.

Civil Engineering Program

This program is designed to prepare graduates to apply engineering principles to the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects such as buildings, bridges, roads, and water supply systems.

Computer Engineering Program

This program is designed to prepare graduates to apply engineering principles to the design, development, and maintenance of computer hardware and software systems.

Electrical Engineering Program

This program is designed to prepare graduates to apply engineering principles to the design, development, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems.

Industrial and Management System Engineering Program

This program is designed to prepare graduates to apply engineering principles to the analysis, design, and management of complex systems, processes, and organizations in various industries.

Mechanical Engineering

This program is designed to prepare graduates to apply engineering principles to the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems, including machines, vehicles, and energy systems.

Petroleum Engineering

This program is designed to prepare graduates to apply engineering principles to the exploration, production, and management of oil and gas resources.
