Kuwait University Announces the 9th International Conference on Energy Research and Development – November 2026

Kuwait University will host the 9th International Conference on Energy Research and Development 2026 from November 16–18, 2026, at the Conference Center in Sabah Al-Salem University City.
In this regard, Dr. Osama Al-Yousef, Chair of the Higher Organizing Committee and Acting Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering and Petroleum, stated that the conference will be held in collaboration with local and international partners. It will bring together a distinguished group of experts, specialists, and academics from both the public and private sectors in Kuwait and abroad to discuss the future of the energy sector in the region and to enhance the leadership role of national institutions locally, regionally, and globally.
This conference follows the great success of its previous editions, which were held under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, in line with Kuwait Vision 2035 – “New Kuwait.” The vision aims to diversify energy sources and promote innovation across various energy domains, contributing to a sustainable future for upcoming generations. The conference will also serve as an international platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange on key challenges and investment opportunities, while showcasing the latest technologies and practical solutions that help achieve a balanced mix between conventional and alternative energy sources.
