The Enhanced Petroleum Production Center at the College of Engineering and Petroleum, Kuwait University, organized a specialized workshop from September 6 to 10, 2026. The event focused on laboratory experiments to evaluate the efficiency of polymer flooding processes and featured the participation of experts from the United States and India, alongside engineers from the Kuwait Oil Company and the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research.
The workshop included practical sessions where participants conducted experiments firsthand to reinforce the applied aspects of the training. Professor Dr. Mishal Khalaf Al-Ghareeb, Director of the Center, emphasized the importance of such workshops in knowledge transfer and the development of national expertise in enhanced petroleum production technologies. The event concluded with the presentation of certificates to participants, attended by representatives from the participating organizations and Kuwait University.
